From 9 to 12 June 2026, Mian Global participated in Seoul Food 2026 at the Korea International Exhibition Center—KINTEX—in Goyang, South Korea. Organized by KOTRA and co-organized by Informa Markets and KINTEX, the exhibition provided an important meeting point for food manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers, and ingredient suppliers from Korea and other international markets.
At Booth 5A210 in the Vietnam Pavilion, we introduced visitors to Vietnamese Cassia Cinnamon, Star Anise, and other selected spices and botanicals. The event marked Mian Global’s first exhibition in Korea and represented an important step in developing closer connections with the Korean food and spice industry.

Presenting the Diversity of Vietnamese Cassia Cinnamon
Vietnamese Cassia Cinnamon was the main focus of our display. Visitors were able to explore different product forms suitable for a wide range of applications, including whole tubes, sticks, round-cut and square-cut pieces, broken grades, tea-bag cut, and powder.
Our discussions highlighted the natural strengths of Vietnamese cassia, particularly its rich, sweet-spicy aroma and the availability of grades with different bark thicknesses, particle sizes, and volatile oil levels. We also presented Star Anise and selected Vietnamese botanicals for use in spice processing, foodservice, tea blending, and other food applications.
Rather than offering only a standard product, our aim was to help buyers understand the differences between each grade so that they could identify the most suitable option for their intended use.
Meaningful Conversations with Korean Buyers
Throughout the four-day exhibition, we welcomed importers, distributors, food manufacturers, foodservice companies, and other industry professionals to our booth.
Many visitors showed particular interest in our Whole Cassia Cinnamon, Square-Cut, Broken grades, Cinnamon Powder, and Star Anise. The discussions focused on practical purchasing considerations, particularly the food-safety and regulatory requirements established by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for imported spice products.
These direct exchanges allowed us to better understand how Vietnamese spices are evaluated and used in the Korean market. They also gave us valuable feedback on the specifications, product information, and documentation that Korean buyers expect from their suppliers.
Several discussions continued through follow-up meetings and customer visits after the exhibition. Samples and commercial proposals are now being prepared for selected companies interested in evaluating our products.
Understanding the Korean Market More Closely
Participating in Seoul Food 2026 was not only an opportunity to introduce our products. It was also a valuable learning experience.
The exhibition reinforced the importance of clear technical specifications, consistent quality, detailed test results, and prompt communication when working with Korean customers. Buyers were highly attentive to food-safety compliance and wanted to understand the relationship between raw-material quality, processing methods, aroma, oil content, and the final application.
These insights will support Mian Global as we continue refining our products and services for Korea and other quality-focused Asian markets.
Building Connections Beyond the Exhibition
One of the most valuable parts of Seoul Food 2026 was the opportunity to meet customers face to face. Product specifications and prices remain important, but direct conversations help both sides better understand expectations, applications, and long-term cooperation possibilities.
We sincerely thank everyone who visited the Mian Global booth, examined our samples, shared market insights, and discussed potential cooperation with us. We also appreciate the support of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the Vietnam Pavilion in creating opportunities for Vietnamese companies to connect with the Korean market.
Looking Ahead
Following the exhibition, our team is continuing discussions with prospective customers and preparing samples based on their individual requirements.
With our established processing expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and quality-control systems, we are confident in our ability to supply products that meet the requirements of Korean partners—particularly Cassia Cinnamon Powder tailored to their quality, safety, and application needs.
Seoul Food 2026 strengthened our confidence in the potential of Vietnamese Cassia Cinnamon, Star Anise, and other spices in Korea. We look forward to building on the connections made during the event and developing reliable, long-term partnerships with customers in the market.
